Confused  I am new to CR, need major help.  I have to design a report based on multiple manipulations of a set of data.  Some of the Report columns use a parameter date, some do not.  One column is based on a closed status, one column is based on both closed and open status of tickets.  It would look like this:
 
 
UnitName   Tickets opened, Tickets closed, Tickets currently opened, Oldest open ticket, Date of Oldest Open Ticket.
 
Can I attach a parameter to individual fields?  (Tickets Opened and Tickets closed would be user input parameter dates).
 
Can I filter/select then group and count records AFTER reading records?

Please post a workable sample of data. This is probably straight forward but difficult to be sure without seeing the raw data.

Rob, I never did see a post after this.  I believe I gave you my work email address, and it can be rather tacky about blocking emails.  If you did send a reply, would you resend it to my home email?

PS, we are ordering the CR Encyclopedia, and have checked the chapters posted online.  Chapter 10 - Cross Tab - sounds like it is going to be a possible solution....  Yipee if it is!
