Topic: Cannot Drop Down Fields from Table In DB Expert Posted: 08 Oct 2015 at 5:31am
I am using SAP Crystal v14 and have a super n00b question;
I have created a successful ADO connection that allows me to add tables but, after adding those tables, I cannot drop down to see the Fields under "Database Expert"
The user in question that I am testing on is a SQL user with sysadmin rights and extra -- Because I just want to get it to work.
Anyone know why I have a good ADO connection to DB and allows me to grab tables and views but doesnt let me see the field data?

Odd as it sounds, I know that unless you give specific rights to a table in newer versions of MS-SQL, you can see the table, but not the fields (go figure). I have a DBA double check the rights for the tables.
